22 Days Peace March for Tibet in Switzerland
Youth and Education interviews Gope Yonten of the 22 Days’ Peace March Organizing Committee of Swiss & Lichtenstein, and Kongtsa Tsering Serkyi and Tsayul Phuntsok two young Peace March participants. Yonten expresses his satisfaction in getting the word out about Tibet during the March, and the cooperation his group receives from other Tibet groups. Serkyi says she thinks of her participation in the March as a way to do something for Tibet living in a free country and is very moved by the response of other people and fellow marchers. Phuntsok is equally fired up and urges other young Tibetans to do what they can since this is a critical period in Tibet’s history.
