Tibetans in Delhi Organizes Solidarity Campaign
The National Democratic Party of Tibet based in Dharamsala organized a protest in Delhi, India on November 6, 2013 to highlight the tragic situation in Tibet, particularly the recent incidence in Driru county, Dokham province.Around 1000 Tibetans living in Delhi including Tibetans who have come to do winter sweater selling business took part in a demonstration against China from Ramlila ground to Jantar Mantar.
Swami Agnivesh, member of Indian Parliament and Ms. Jaya Jeitly, an active social activist participated in the event and gave speeches supporting the Tibetan protestors.
