The teachings will comprise of Tsongkhapa's Concise Stages for the path to enlightenment, and Gyalwa Longchen Rabjang's Relaxing the Mind. On the morning of the 29th he will confer an Avalokiteshvera Initiation.
The Dalai Lama's visit to the Northeast starts in Sikkim where his visit is being organized by and at the request of the Sikkim government. His three day visit to Sikkim will include teachings, a consecration and meetings with local dignitaries. The Tibetan spiritual leader will give a long life empowerment in Ravangla on the 25th, and lead a Vajrakilaya consecration prayer for a new Buddha statue on the morning of the 26th. During the three day visit he will also meet leaders in the Sikkim government including the Chief minister and Governor. The Dalai Lama will also visit Gangtok, the capitol of Sikkim to meet and interact with the area's youth.
Before the trip to the Northeast, The Dalai Lama will give a two and half day teaching in New Delhi. He will leave his residence in Dharamsala, India on March 21 and return on the 30th.
