US Gives $23 million for Tibetan exiles in India and Nepal

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) awarded a grant of $23 million over five years to strengthen self-reliance and resilience of Tibetan communities in South Asia. The overall goal of the program is to strengthening Tibetan communities equipping them to thrive economically, become effective leaders, and maintain the vitality of their communities and institutions while retaining their unique identity and culture.
