Dalai Lama Urges Nuns to Work for Geshema Degree

Kunsang Dolma compiled excerpts of His Holiness the Dalai Lama's address to the nun participants of this year's winter debate session ( Jang-Gunchoe). Dalai Lama stresses on the importance of studying Buddhist texts and aiming to become qualified female Geshes ( Geshe-ma) who could teach Buddhism not only in nunneries but in schools and Buddhist centers abroad.
