The State of Tibetan Film Making: Prospects and Challenges

Recently Tenzin Sonam and Ritu Sarin of White Crane Film have organized the first-ever International Film Festival in Dharamsala hill town and around the same time, Kalsang Rinchen has conducted a month-long film making workshop for the budding future Tibetan film makers in exile community. Table Talk invites the above two film makers to discuss their perspective on the current state of Tibetan film making and its challenges and prospects.
