Meaningful career, mindful Tibetan

The show explores different topics inherent in ‘Meaningful career, mindful Tibetan’ the theme of this summer’s upstate New York conference of Tibetan university students in North America. Our guests will include Tsewang Phuntsok, an organizer of the conference and two student participants, Tenzin Lhadar and Tenzin Thokme.

The show has been promoted within all the participants of the conference and it will endeavour to discuss some of the key issues of the conference and take them beyond the scope of the two day conference. Some of the areas for discussion are the strategies for building a student support network, career planning that dovetails individual and community objectives and the means to gain further insights into the current realities in Tibet and one’s own connections and responsibilities to it.
